Terms of Use
15 Minutes · Last updated: October 20, 2026
By using the 15 Minutes website or app, run by Rafael Fernandes Vieira (Uberlândia, Brazil), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. You must be at least 13 years old (or older if your country sets a higher age for online services).
About the content
15 Minutes is an independent editorial product. The summaries, analyses and reading journeys are original works written in our own words. They are not copies, translations or official materials of the books' authors or publishers, and we are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by them. Summaries do not replace reading the original book.
Using the website and app
You may use them for personal reading and study, lawfully. Please do not copy or resell the content, scrape the catalog, interfere with the service, or try to get around the subscription or the gift and referral rules. We may change or discontinue features at any time.
Intellectual property
The text, cover illustrations, interface and the "15 Minutes" name are owned by Rafael Fernandes Vieira. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and content for your own use. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use without written permission is not allowed. If you are a rights holder with a concern, write to us at the address below.
Premium subscription
Some summaries are free. The optional Premium subscription unlocks the full library. In the US the price is currently $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year; prices vary by country and are always shown in the store before you buy. If a promotional period is offered, it is shown in the store before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google Play account) when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel any time in your store account settings (on iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your League profile does not cancel the subscription.
- Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot issue them ourselves. This does not limit any refund or withdrawal right you have under mandatory consumer law.
- If the price changes, the store will notify you, and where the store requires your consent, the new price applies only if you accept it.
Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to the iOS app. The Android version is coming soon.
Gift and referral codes
Each gift code can be redeemed once, on the first device that uses it. Referral rewards are Premium days granted once per device and have no cash value. We may cancel codes or rewards obtained through abuse or fraud.
League and community rules
The League is optional. Nicknames must respect other people: no offensive names, no impersonation and no names that violate others' rights. You can report and block profiles in the app. We may remove profiles or nicknames that break these rules, with or without notice. You can delete your own profile at any time (Settings → Social → Delete my profile). Details about the data we process are in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer and liability
15 Minutes is for reading, study and personal development. It is not financial, psychological, legal, medical or other professional advice, and decisions you make based on it are your own. The service is provided "as is", without promises that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
Suspension
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page or in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and disputes go to the courts of the developer's place of residence in Brazil, unless the law says otherwise. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts where those laws give you that right.
